Is gum disease reversible?
Early-stage gum disease (gingivitis) is fully reversible with a professional clean and improved home care. More advanced periodontitis can be managed and stabilised, though it can't be fully reversed.
Does scaling and root planing hurt?
We numb the area thoroughly before starting. Most patients feel mild tenderness for a day or two after, which resolves on its own. We provide aftercare instructions to make the recovery as smooth as possible.
How can I tell if I have gum disease?
